Naruto Storm 3: Madara in the
Opening
Someone lucky enough to
have their hands on the game a few days early has put up footage of Storm 3′s
main menu and opening cinematic. Paying close attention at the 1:17 mark
gives away a quick peek at Madara! While fans shouldn’t exactly be
surprised to see him in the game, it’s definitely exciting!
Additionally, a picture
of the character select screen from the same uploader (and saiyanisland) shows
several pre-timeskip characters included in the roster. In previous
interviews the frontman for CC2 had stated,
“The story will focus on
the ninja war, so characters who have appeared in Naruto Shippuden will make a
come back. Part 1 exclusive characters will not make a return. There will,
however, be a lot of new characters!”
Will there be valid
story hooks for the younger characters? Flashback gameplay in story mode?
Is it just a throwback to generations? Does anyone actually use
pre-timeskip Sakura for anything? We’ll find out when the game is actually
in our hot little hands!
